You will appreciate the fact that this is a solar home with large south facing windows. Solar cells can produce all of the electric needs or flick a switch to access electricity from the local power grid. The top floor has an open living design with ten foot ceilings and a large solarium that faces south overlooking Cadillac Mountain. Large decks on both floors compliment all the rooms in the house. All rooms have unique views of either Acadia National Park, some ocean, or the surrounding woods and wild life.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with all expected things such as a refrigerator, oven with grill, stop-top-burners, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cooking utensils, a variety of spices, and even a lobster-pot. There is a freezer if needed for frozen goods. For clean and fresh clothing, we have a washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, and furnished laundry soap. The spacious main living area has plenty of seating and a sofa bed. Several rooms have ceiling fans. The dining area has seating for six people. The large outdoor wood decks has ample seating and lounging space with 5 garden chairs, 2 beach chairs, and a gas grill for that afternoon or evening barbeque. There is a telephone with free local telephone service, high-speed Internet, wireless broadband service, and satellite Dish TV. There is plenty of parking and a large garage for any of your storage needs.

The 3,600 sq. ft. home has three bedrooms (sleeps a maximum of six) and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed and a large master bath. Bedroom two has a queen bed. Bedroom three has a double bed. Bathroom one has a toilet, tub, shower, and nice landscape views. Bathroom two has a toilet and a combination tub and shower.
