This charming 3-bedroom cottage has roomy accommodations for 7 with a large cedar deck overlooking the quarry and majestic mountain views. With over 1,800 square feet of living space this 2-story cottage has a large, modern, well-equipped kitchen with bar stool seating. The adjacent, open dining area provides quarry views for dining and entertaining. Sliding glass doors provide great views and deck access from the spacious living room. A queen size bedroom, full bathroom with laundry facilities completes the first floor.

The second floor features a large, master bedroom with king-size bed, sofa and glass sliding doors leading to a private deck overlooking the quarry. Across the hallway is a second bedroom with twin beds and pine forest views and a second bathroom.

You will find yourself within walking distance of Somes Sound (the only natural fiord on the Eastern seaboard), Acadia Mountain's hiking trails and Echo Lake's sand beach. You will be just a short drive from the picturesque villages of Somesville, Southwest Harbor and Northeast Harbor as well as Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and all the activities and attractions for which Mount Deseret Island is renowned.

By day, explore the natural beauty of Acadia National Park. Watch the sunrise from Cadillac Mountain! Spend pleasant evenings in Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor and Southwest Harbor. Or just sit back and enjoy quiet interludes as the moon rises over the quarry.
